I enjoy sailing, reading, traveling, visiting grandchildren and hanging with my best friend, Dr. Jolanta Szmuc.
I began my career practicing orthopedic, hand and microsurgery, building a five person orthopedic practice. I left the group and practiced solo hand and microsurgery for a total of 12 years. I started QualMed Evaluations focusing on worker's compensation independent medical examinations. I sold the company in 2009 to ExamWorks. I was privileged to breakfast in the New York Stock Exchange board room and be present on the floor of the exchange the day ExamWorks went public on 10/28/10. I continue to consult for QualMed.
