Don Chew is a founding partner of Stern Stewart and Co., a New York-based corporate finance firm (known mainly as the inventor of a measure of corporate performance called “EVA”). He is the founding editor of the Journal of Applied Corporate Finance, a quarterly magazine sponsored by Bank of America, and has published five books on corporate finance. Don has a Ph.D. in English and American lit. (thesis on Melville, Conrad, and Faulkner) as well as an MBA in finance from the University of Rochester, and lives in New York City with his wife, Sue Emerson, and three kids (Emily, 11, Mike, 9, and Ben, four months).
